This year, kids ages 7-13 will have the opportunity to experience the Antique Archaeology picking process from beginning to end. The first 150 items entered online will be displayed and offered for sale during the the ten days of the fair at the Kid Pickers display. Each entrant will be offered a time to appear at the booth in order to talk about their item, as well as attempt to sell it to fair goers. All entrants will keep 100% of what they sell.
The Kid Pickers Pick & Sell Market will take place in the Sports Arena on Sunday, September 7. All 150 advance entries, as well as any children ages 7 – 13 bringing a pick to the fair that day, will receive space while it lasts at the Kid Pickers Pick & Sell Market, as well as the opportunity to talk about the history of their item, and a chance to sell their pick. Mike Wolfe of Antique Archaeology will appear at the Kid Pickers Pick & Sell market as well, and along with HISTORY®, will announce the winners of the national Pick & Tell contest and present them with scholarship winnings
To enter a pick and be eligible to display and sell it throughout the 2014 Tennessee State Fair, as well as a guaranteed spot in the Kid Pickers Pick & Sell Market on September 7th, please fill out the form below and submit it with a photo of your pick attached. The contest is open to ages 7-13. All picks must be dropped off, along with a signed copy of the entry form, on Saturday, August 30th, from 9 am to 5 pm at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.
