Competitions are heating up for the Tennessee State Fair. Competitors have the opportunity to win their share of the $145,000 in premiums offered at the 2013 Tennessee State Fair. From cattle to sheep and from quilts to the new apple pie contest the Tennessee State Fair opened online registration Monday, August 5th. Competitors are urged to register online.
A new competition to our line-up is the “Tennessee Two-Crust Apple Pie Contest” at the Tennessee State Fair Saturday, September 14th. Bakers from all over the state are invited to the Tennessee State Fair to compete for the title of “Tennessee Two-Crust Apple Pie Contest Champion.” Along with the title of Tennessee Two-Crust champion the winner will receive print recognition in a Tennessee publication, a Tennessee State Fair Blue Ribbon, and a $500 award. There are prizes for second and third place, too! Each will receive a red or white ribbon from the Tennessee State Fair along with $150 for second place and $75 for third place. Don’t miss this fine opportunity to earn a load of cash and the bragging rights for the best apple pie in the state!
The state fair is the premium location to bring your livestock, agriculture crops, and creative arts to be featured and judged among the best in the state. Some categories may feature competitors from around the world like entries from Australia and Canada from years past. Be sure to register your entries for the 2013 Tennessee State Fair soon! Pay close attention to dates, specifications, and contact information.
