As the growth of competition food explodes across the country, the World Food Championships equally has grown in size and scope. In 2014, the World Food Championships will introduce Super Regional Qualifiers to help funnel the growth of the event into other exciting destinations that are known and respected for their culinary heritage. Super Regional events are multi-category live event cooking competitions that will bring cooks and chefs from across the country looking to win cash prizes and qualification to compete in the World Food Championships.
We are thrilled to host a Super Regional qualifier at the Tennessee State Fair during the Taste of Tennessee Festival! Competition categories are Bacon, Dessert and Seafood and will span over Friday & Saturday, September 5th & 6th. Fair goers are welcome to come down and watch the excitement as it’s filmed for a new FYI network series.
